Orchards Guarantee the Best Propagation Material

Schniga^® clone budwood is produced in modern, attended orchards in Northern Italy.

The grafts are exclusively cut from trees that bear fruit. Every year, all trees are checked and assessed just before the harvest. If fruit on a tree does not have the colour typical for the mutation or there are other variations, no grafts will be cut from that particular tree. If there are variations in two consecutive years, those trees will be removed from the orchard.

This is the only way of guaranteeing the highest possible graft quality.

The following applies to Schniga^® orchards:

• Location in an orchard-free production area in accordance with legal requirements
• Production of certified CAC-free and virus-free budwood
